Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
I laureati in Ostetricia avranno acquisito un'ampia e vasta gamma di conoscenze nelle scienze di base, nelle discipline caratterizzanti e nel campo della comunicazione e della gestione professionale.
In particolare dovranno conseguire solide basi culturali e scientifiche nel campo delle: scienze propedeutiche, di base, biomediche, di primo soccorso, scienze statistiche, scienze umane e psicopedagogiche, scienze ostetriche, scienze interdisciplinari e medico chirurgiche, scienze della prevenzione e dei servizi sanitari, scienze statistiche, dei metodi quantitativi e dell'aggiornamento scientifico, scienze del Management sanitario, conoscenze informatiche, conoscenza di almeno una lingua dell'Unione Europea, oltre l'italiano.
Inoltre, saranno messi in condizione di agire in condizioni di emergenza, attesa la peculiarita delle aree nelle quali si troveranno non di rado a fornire la propria opera, caratterizzate da numerose emergenze, anche belliche, con scarsa densita di personale sanitario.
La valutazione di tali conoscenze e delle capacita di comprensione sara attuata tramite esami orali, scritti, prove pratiche simulate, journal club, relazioni scritte, compilazione di modelli dedicati.
Gli strumenti didattici saranno attivita d'aula, lezioni pratiche in laboratorio e/o in locali attrezzati, tirocinio, lettura e interpretazione della letteratura internazionale.Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
I laureati in Ostetricia saranno in grado di: realizzare interventi di valutazione delle prestazioni preventive, curative, palliative e riabilitative ostetriche, neonatali e ginecologiche; accertare, diagnosticare, pianificare, erogare e valutare l'assistenza ostetrica, neonatale e ginecologica rivolta a persone sane e malate; monitorare il benessere materno-fetale in corso di gravidanza, in corso di travaglio e parto, e in situazioni patologiche in collaborazione con lo specialista.
L'applicazione delle conoscenze si sviluppera tenendo conto di aspetti fondamentali quali la relazione interpersonale ed inter-professionale e la gestione organizzativa degli aspetti direttamente connessi alla tipologia del lavoro svolto.
Tali capacita saranno raggiunte attraverso la frequenza obbligatoria del tirocinio professionalizzante distribuito su tre anni e delle attivita di laboratorio didattico distribuite tra il primo e il secondo anno.
Gli strumenti didattici saranno attivita d'aula, lezioni pratiche in laboratorio e/o in locali attrezzati, tirocinio, lettura e interpretazione della letteratura internazionale.
La valutazione di tali conoscenze e delle capacita di comprensione sara attuata tramite esami teorico/pratici, relazioni scritte e prove pratiche.Autonomia di giudizio

Il laureato al termine del percorso di studi sara in grado di svolgere, con autonomia professionale, le attivita in campo ostetrico, quali:
accertare, diagnosticare, pianificare, attuare e valutare le necessita di aiuto alla donna, alla coppia, alla famiglia e alla collettivita, nei vari ambiti socio-sanitari, integrando le conoscenze teoriche con quelle pratiche.
Sara in grado di verificare la corrispondenza delle prestazioni erogate agli indicatori e standard predefiniti dal responsabile della struttura; sara inoltre in grado di discutere gli indicatori di processo ed esito dell'evento nascita e i fattori che rendono la diade madre/feto-neonato a rischio.
Infine partecipera alla programmazione e organizzazione del lavoro nell'ambito della struttura di appartenenza.

Il laureato ostetrico sapra condurre un'auto-valutazione del proprio livello formativo in modo da mantenere il proprio sapere al piu alto livello richiesto per la pratica professionale e progettare percorsi di auto-formazione per implementare le proprie competenze, con particolare riferimento alle linee guida nazionali ed internazionali nell'ambito delle scienze ostetriche.
Nei tre anni acquisira capacita di apprendimento e competenze tali da consentire, al termine del percorso, il proseguimento degli studi.
Questa capacita sara sviluppata e verificata con la preparazione degli esami, con la frequenza e la relativa valutazione del tirocinio, nel quale viene coniugata la teoria con la pratica, con l'uso critico della letteratura scientifica e della bibliografia anche per la preparazione della prova finale.
Strumenti didattici: attivita d'aula, seminari, tirocinio
La valutazione delle capacita di apprendimento, sara attuata tramite le seguenti modalita di verifica: esami teorico-pratici, relazioni scritte e orali su aspetti tecnico/professionali, discussione di casi clinici; ricerche e produzione di materiali didattici.
Requisiti di ammissione
Possono essere ammessi al Corso di laurea i candidati che siano in possesso di diploma di scuola secondaria superiore o di altro titolo di studio conseguito all?estero riconosciuto idoneo dalla normativa vigente.
La prova di ammissione e predisposta annualmente dall?Ateneo secondo le modalita e la tempistica indicate dagli organi competenti nel rispetto delle normative vigenti.
E' altresi richiesto il possesso o l'acquisizione di un'adeguata preparazione iniziale.
I regolamenti didattici dei corsi di laurea definiscono le conoscenze richieste per l?accesso e ne determinano le modalita di verifica.
Se dalla verifica non risulta il possesso di un livello sufficiente di preparazione, possono essere indicati specifici obblighi formativi aggiuntivi da soddisfare nel primo anno di corso attraverso l?istituzione di attivita formative integrative.
Le attivita formative propedeutiche ed integrative possono essere svolte anche in collaborazione con istituti di istruzione secondaria o con altri enti pubblici o privati, sulla base di apposite convenzioni.
Prova finale
L'Esame finale del Corso di Laurea ha valore di Esame di Stato abilitante all'esercizio della professione e si compone di:
a.
Una prova pratica nel corso della quale lo studente deve dimostrare di aver acquisito le conoscenze e abilita teorico-pratiche e tecnico-operative proprie dello specifico profilo professionale;
b.
Redazione di un elaborato di una tesi e sua dissertazione.
Si svolge nei periodi e nei modi prescritti da apposito decreto del Ministero della Universita e della Ricerca Scientifica e Tecnologica di concerto con il Ministero della Salute.
A determinare il voto di laurea, espresso in centodecimi, contribuiscono i seguenti parametri:
a) la media dei voti conseguiti negli esami curriculari espressa in centodecimi,
b) i punti attribuiti dalla Commissione dell'esame finale in sede di discussione (massimo 5 punti),
c) il punteggio conseguito nella prova pratica (massimo 6 punti).
La lode puo essere attribuita per parere unanime della Commissione ai Candidati che conseguono il punteggio finale di 110/110.
I docenti relatori di tesi sono professori di prima o seconda fascia o ricercatori o professori a contratto.
Le attivita formative per la preparazione della prova finale si svolgeranno nelle strutture indicate in merito alle attivita professionalizzanti.Orientamento in ingresso
L'Admission Office si occupa di organizzare attivita dedicate a studenti italiani e stranieri delle scuole superiori, con lo scopo di far conoscere l'offerta didattica e il modello formativo dell'Universita.
Le attivita di orientamento coinvolgono Docenti e discenti dei vari Corsi di Laurea, professionisti e personale di staff dedicato.
Ad inizio anno accademico l'ufficio di competenza, in accordo con il dipartimento di Comunicazione e Marketing, provvede a pianificare le date degli eventi di orientamento per tutto il calendario didattico.
Nel corso dell'anno 2019/2020 e stato organizzato un Open Day, aperto a genitori e studenti per dar loro modo di entrare in contatto diretto con gli ambienti e le dinamiche dell?Ateneo e conoscere i contenuti didattici dei Corsi di Laurea attraverso alcune testimonianze di Professori e discenti gia presenti in UniCamillus.
Prima che l?emergenza Coronavirus bloccasse le attivita in presenza, lo staff dell?Admission Office ha realizzato numerose attivita di orientamento presso le seguenti scuole della Regione Lazio:

L?arrivo della pandemia ha comportato l?annullamento di ulteriori incontri fissati presso altre scuole.
UniCamillus ha inoltre presenziato importanti saloni dello studente organizzati nel territorio nazionale:

Infine, con l'obiettivo di avvicinare i ragazzi delle scuole superiori ad una maggior consapevolezza nella scelta del percorso universitario, sono stati ospitati alcuni ragazzi delle classi terze e quarte del Liceo Ginnasio T.
Tasso, i quali hanno preso parte ad una serie di lezioni e laboratori su materie presenti nei vari Corsi di Laurea offerti da UniCamillus nell?ambito del progetto Alternanza Scuola Lavoro.
Il Corso di Studio in breve
Il Corso di Laurea in Ostetricia ha l?obiettivo di formare professionisti sanitari cui competono le competenze de D.M.
n.
740 del 14 settembre 1994 e successive modificazioni ed integrazioni dal Codice Deontologico.
Il laureato in Ostetricia e responsabile della assistenza ostetrica, ginecologica e neonatologia preventiva curativa, palliativa e riabilitativa.
L?ostetrica promuove l?educazione e tutela della salute della donna in tutte le sue fasi della vita, coppia, bambino e collettivita; assistenza , educazione terapeutica, gestione, formazione, ricerca e consulenza.
Prepara ad identificare i bisogni della salute della donna, madre, assistenza al parto, puerperio, bambino e famiglia.
Si occupa della salute globale, sessuale e riproduttiva e prevenzione oncologica.
Il raggiungimento di tali obiettivi e competenze avviene tramite un percorso formativo di 3 anni con un raggiungimento di 180 Crediti Formativi Universitari (CFU), 60 CFU per ogni anno con obbligo di frequenza per il 75%, comprendenti attivita di didattica frontale, tirocinio pratico (professionalizzante), studio individuale, laboratori ed attivita a scelta dello studente.
Il Corso si conclude con il raggiungimento dei 180 CFU, una prova pratica abilitante alla Professione Ostetrica e discussione dell?esame finale.
Lo studente espliciterà le proprie scelte al momento della presentazione,
tramite il sistema informativo di ateneo, del piano di completamento o del piano di studio individuale,

Anatomy and physiology

Aim of the teaching is: to describe the macroscopic organization of the human body using the appropriate terminology appropriately. Describe the main cavities of the body, describe the individual organs of the various apparatuses and systems from the macroscopic, microscopic and topographic point of view, to provide students with knowledge on the basic concepts and the normal quantitative parameters of the bodily functions and their variations in the different conditions of dynamic engagement, to develop in the student the ability to understand the principles of the functioning of the human body. The cellular mechanisms and the integrated functions of the main organs and apparatuses aimed at the maintenance of body homeostasis will also be analyzed in the context of environmental modifications. The student will need to be able to acquire correct terminology and develop those skills of interpretation and application that, the graduate in Midwifery, will then have to use in the planning and management of work activities.

Physiology

The aim of the teaching is to provide the knowledge of the fundamental physiological mechanisms of human functions. The course includes the acquisition of knowledge on the operating principles of the organs that compose the human body, and their dynamic integration into apparatuses and systems for maintaining body homeostasis in the context of changes in the environment. The course will allow to acquire the ability to independently apply the knowledge of organ and system functioning mechanisms to situations of potential functional alteration. At this regard, the students will also need to know the main indicators and normal parameters of human physiological functions, and the related measurement methods. These objectives will be achieved through lectures, seminars and interactive teaching activities, aimed at facilitating learning and improving the ability to solve simple physiological problems.

Same of the main themes will be: culture as a construction of mankind, culture as a vision of the world, links between culture and health either on an individual plan and on a social one, the importance of anthropologicalcontext and of cross-cultural encounters in the clinic practice. Knowledge of the following objective will be essential: structure of different microorganisms, microbial pathogenicity, interactions between micro-organism and host, causes and mechanisms of onset of the main microbial aetiology diseases. In addition, knowledge of bacterial, viral, mycotic or protozoal infections of gynaecological and obstetric interest will be indispensable in order to identify potential clinical problems during professional activity. Physiopathology of human reproduction
(objectives)
At the end of the course the student will be able to describe the main complications related to the different phases of a woman’s life, pregnancy and birth control, character, signs and symptoms of the main pathologies of surgical interest, preparation for surgery, risk factors in surgery and post-operative complications. Further objective of the course is the identification of the main pathologies of interest to internal medicine, as well as a knowledge of the risk factors, clinical presentation, diagnostic approaches and, lastly, patient management. Later, the course shall also present some more detailed analyses of women of fertile age. When relevant specific arguments regarding the presentation and consequences of the treated pathologies in for pregnant women will be examined more specifically along with their pre-disposing factors. Moreover, the course aims to provide students with the skills to understand the concept of Public Health, basic principles of epidemiology and clinical study designs and learn about food hygiene and health protection of workers in the places of life and work, especially for the prevention of biological risk. The course also aims to provide tools for health education and health literacy to involving people in decisions concerning their health and necessary statistical bases to set up a research and collect and analyse data. The student must acquire a correct statistical terminology and be able to understand and interpret a scientific study. Finally, this course aims at providing the student with the fundamental knowledge of Pharmacology, including the branches of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, with specific reference to pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic parameters modification during pregnancy. The course also aims at providing the student with the fundamental knowledge of some Special Pharmacology topics, specifically related to steroidal and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, opioid analgesics and sighs of endocrine pharmacology and contraceptives.

The course aims at providing the student with the fundamental knowledge of Pharmacology, including the branches of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, with specific reference to pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic parameters modification during pregnancy. The degree program trains graduates able to work in public and private institutions, companies and organizations, usually in multidisciplinary teams in science and psychological techniques areas.
