The course is intended to provide basic psychological knowledge concerning cognitive functioning and human behavior. The aim is to offer a theoretical framework to improve the ability to understand and interact with both patients and their relatives.

The teaching, integrated with psychology, aims to provide the student with specific skills on the fundamental issues of ethics, deontology and communication: central pillars and essential knowledge for the professional exercise and carrying out the activity professional, which support the action of the healthcare professional, in all the patient's caretaking activity, in an operational context, strongly renewed over time both by progress and by scientific and technological achievements and by the regulatory and organizational, which strengthened the concept of team or team, and of professional responsibility. The course introduces the student to knowledge of the legislation on the autonomy of professional practice, on the specific professional profile and on the relevant legal-medico-legal aspects and the related implications of professional practice.
