Curriculum

Emiliano Maiani ha conseguito il suo dottorato in Biologia Cellulare e Molecolare all’Università di Roma Tor Vergata nel 2013. Dal 2013 al 2021 è stato ricercatore presso il Danish Cancer Society Research Center, Copenhagen, Danimarca, lavorando nei gruppi di ricerca Cell Stress and Survival e Computational Biology Laboratory. La sua attività di ricerca è focalizzata sullo studio dei meccanismi di segnalazione cellulare in particolare nell’ambito della risposta al danno al DNA, nel controllo del ciclo cellulare, nell’autofagia e nell’apoptosi. Ha pubblicato le sue ricerche in riviste prestigiose tra cui Nature, Nature Medicine, Nature Communication e Nature Methods. Da ottobre 2022 è ricercatore a tempo determinato L.240/10 tipo B, nel settore scientifico disciplinare BIO/11 presso l’International University of Health and Medical Sciences UNICAMILLUS, Roma, Italia. Emiliano Maiani got his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. From 2013 to 2021, he was enrolled as a PostDoc and Senior Scientist at the Danish Cancer Society Research Center, Copenhagen, Denmark. He worked in the Cell Stress and Survival and Computational Biology Laboratory research groups and in close collaboration with the Structural Biology laboratory at the University of Copenhagen. His work is focused on the field of cancer molecular biology. He has extensive experience in the study of cell signaling mechanisms in the field of DNA damage response, cell cycle control, autophagy, and apoptosis. He has published his research in prestigious journals, including Nature, Nature Medicine, Nature Communication, and Nature Methods. Since October 2022, he has been a fixed-term researcher L.240 / 10 type B, in Molecular Biology at the International University of Health and Medical Sciences UNICAMILLUS, Rome, Italy.
