Curriculum

PhD in Medical Embryology, he is Associate Professor in Human Anatomy in the Dept. of Biomedicine and Prevention at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and is habilitated for the position of Full Professor of Human Anatomy. He performed his Post-Doctoral research at Columbia University and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA and returned to Italy awarded by the “Rientro dei Cervelli” grant from the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MIUR). He has developed a broad background in reproductive and developmental biology, cancer biology and mechanisms of DNA-repair. Research in his lab has been supported by grants from MIUR, AIRC, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Telethon Foundations and Regione Lazio.
