AWARDS AND HONORS
“Aurora Cannolicchio” Sebatia-Ter International Award
[2019]
Motivation: "The exceedingly high scientific level for research always carried out at a high level of excellence, the profuse care and commitment with admirable empathy towards young patients make the Pediatric Neuro-oncology Unit of the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome, a precious and irreplaceable point of reference for many families affected by very serious and touching events. A deep commitment to the point that it is often tiring for the operators themselves, inevitably involved in dramatic events that cannot fail to affect the team members, who are still required to maintain clarity and strength of mind in their difficult tasks carried out in often difficult situations.”
“Fondazione Atena” Research Award
[2019]
Motivation: "Prize for research in pediatric Neuro-Oncology and in particular for studies on cellular immunotherapy."
